Aliens...

my 6 year old daughter is super funny, that i needed to share...
she has been watching Discovery Kids during this spring break and is addicted to mystery solving shows.
we recently watched a show about aliens. she was adamant about their existence. she believes that they are out there in the universe visiting other planets and the star "Pluto."
"do you know what they eat mom?"
"they eat moon rocks! moon rocks!"

hope you see the humor in that as i did...

Day 4
I did total body Tuesday, yoga flex Wednesday and cardio again today. It is totally intense and the 10 minutes of pain is worth it! I am feeling it in my thighs, they are oh so burning! My ʻopu feels tighter, I donʻt think any skinner, but tighter.

Motivation: I canʻt believe I let fat get between me and my toes. I will reach them again!

It has definitely been way too long...

Anyways, been there done that, got lazy, trying to get pregos and now moving on...

Day 1 10 minute trainer...went by super quick, but it really tricked my body into thinking it was a half-hour workout. It feels good and my body is still reeling from it. Let's see how committed I am.

Talk about amazing!

Today we went to Sack-n-Save in Nanakuli, and Mc forgot 2 twelve packs of Heineken Light underneath of the grocery cart. Let me reiterate...forgotten beer in the parking lot in Nanakuli mind you. Two hours later, he remembers! Oh Sh!t. Light the cheap a$$ that I am, I call the store and voila, one of their workers found it and had returned it to the store. Talk about a miracle. Talk about amazing!!!
That was my day. And that is that.

p.s. could have been because it was "light!"

Two days on, Today off...

BannerFans.com

I heard about this new craze, 2 days on your diet, 1 day off. Then you could not technically cheat. I waited the whole 2 days for today. It beats restricting until I fall off the bandwagon.

I am preparing for my daughter's 6th birthday. I experimented with a pistachio cake (because it's my day off) and butter cream frosting. Negative. I used a butter cream with real butter=butter & sugar, just the thought, but I keep dipping my finger in the bowl. I am better off buying it or making a trifle.

Because I can't remember what my feet look like when I stand up.

Day 2

Okay...last night I was still hungry!

Today I am doing good.
Went for a walk around the block a few times with my daughter...it was more like going shopping and dragging along a cement block the 3rd time around. Did some push ups.Wh

Yesterday I bought a new cook book with South Beach Diet recipes prepared & cooked in about 30 minutes.

I don't like curry, but on my trip to Aotearoa I had a fantastic treat they call butter chicken. It just looks like a butter sauce but it is really made of curry & it is fantastic. This Indian Chicken recipe kind of reminded me of my trip.

Indian Chicken
1 1/2 pounds of boneless/skinless chicken breast, cut into 1-inch pieces
1 tbs canola oil
1 small onion diced
2 garlic cloves minced
1 tbs curry powder
1 tsp powdered ginger-but I used fresh ginger grated
2 lbs. cauliflower, cut into florets-but I used peas instead because I don't like the idea of food monotony; but it probably affects the calories
1 (13.5oz) can light coconut milk
1/2 cup lower-sodium chicken broth or water
salt and freshly ground pepper

Good luck and clue me in on any changes you've made to make it better or to avoid.

Lastly-My "Why I am doing this" section:

Because my husband says that I donʻt arch my back nearly as much these days...gotta get back...if you know what I mean *wink*

2009

Kyss the Moon was intended to be my and my husband's highly anticipated way for me to get my creativity in action and to make a little bit of sump'n sump'n. However, I think because of my nature for writing, I am going to use this blog as a catch all for everything in my life.

Aloha, my name is u'i and an in-and-out of love-aholic. I quickly become addicted and just as quickly fall out of it. I bore easily and hope this blog will help me to keep a tangible record of my binges and successes.

So, originally, I was going to use this blog in connection with my google site Kyss the Moon to showcase my children's wear, all handmade and inspired by my daughter. However, as always, I am off to a slow start, so I am using this as just a record of everything in my life.

Last week sometime, I went out and bought $100.00 worth of workout clothing from outfits to undies (like anyone needed to know-but I am trying to be honest with myself). I figured I would work out 6 days a week and utilize all the damn beachbody.com equipment that I have bought over the years. Six outfits means no excuse for not having something fabulous to jiggle my fat in.

At this moment I am going to weigh myself and record...brb! I am back. I am at 1_2 pounds and I hope to lose about kanawalu pauna.

I have yet to eat breakfast, but I plan on 2 egg, imitation crab & green onion omelet. I have already did some kickboxing/taichi (about 30 minutes) and Namaste Yoga (about 30 minutes). I hope to start some pilates, slim in 6 and turbo jam all of which I have purchased and never stuck to (please refer to my in and out of obsessions/acute quick boredom with each.)

So 2009, so much to do, so much to look forward to. Wish me luck and hopefully all will come true.

Dance on moonbeams with me & kyss the moon.
